Easy to follow hints, tips and advice to gradually achieve optimal health and vitality and improve your general health with a simple exercise and eating routine.
It's time to start a healthy life:
your 7 day program
How many times have you gone to bed at night, vowing to
go to the gym in the morning, and then changed your mind eight hours later
because you don't feel like exercising when you wake up?
While this can happen to the best of us, it doesn't mean
you should completely drop the ball when it comes to staying fit. People need
to understand that staying active and eating right is important for long-term
health and well-being – and an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
The more you know about how your body reacts to your
lifestyle choices, the better you can customize the nutrition and exercise plan
that's right for you. When you eat well, increase your physical activity
levels, and
By exercising at the appropriate intensity, you are
informing your body that you want to burn a sufficient amount of fuel. This
means burning fat more efficiently for energy.
In other words, eating right and exercising equals a
faster metabolism, which in turn gives you more energy throughout the day and
allows you to do more physical work with less effort.
The real purpose of exercise is to send repeated messages
to the body to improve metabolism, strength, aerobic capacity, and overall
fitness and health. Every time you exercise, your body responds by upgrading its
abilities to burn fat throughout the day and night. Exercise doesn't have to be
intense for it to work for you, but it does need to be consistent.
I suggest taking part in normal cardiovascular activity
four times each week for 20 to 30 minutes for every meeting and opposition
preparing four times each week for 20 to 25 minutes for every meeting. It
provides a balanced approach
The one-two punch, which includes aerobic exercise to
burn fat and deliver more oxygen, and resistance training to increase lean body
mass and burn more calories around the block.
Here is a sample exercise program that may work for you:
* Warm up – seven to eight minutes of light aerobic
activity aimed at increasing blood flow and lubricating and warming your
tendons and joints.
* Resistance Training - Train all major muscle groups.
One to two sets of each exercise. Rest 45 seconds between sets.
* Aerobic exercise – Choose two favorite activities, they
could be jogging, rowing, biking or cross-country skiing, whatever suits your
lifestyle. Do the first activity for 12 to 15 minutes and continue for 10
minutes
Second activity. Remain calm during the last five
minutes.
* Stretching – End your exercise session by stretching,
deep breathing, relaxing, and meditating.
It is important to have realistic expectations when
starting an exercise program. Depending on your starting fitness level, you
should expect the following changes right off the bat.
* One to about two months - feel quite a bit improved and
have more energy.
* From two to six months - losing size and inches while
getting leaner. Clothes begin to fit more loosely. You're gaining muscle and
losing fat.
* After six months - weight loss starts very fast.
Once you've made a commitment to exercise several times a
week, don't stop there. 'You should also change your diet and/or eating
habits,' says Zweifel. Counting calories or calculating grams and percentages
for certain nutrients
Impractical. Instead, I suggest these easy-to-follow
guidelines:
* Eat several small meals (up to four) and a few small
snacks throughout the day
* Make sure every meal is balanced – include palm-sized amounts of protein such as lean meats, fish, egg whites and dairy products, along with fist-sized amounts of complex carbohydrates such as whole wheat bread and pasta, wild rice, multigrain grains and potatoes Include. Fist-sized portions of vegetables and Fruit
* Limit your fat intake to only what is needed for
adequate flavor
*Drink at least eight 8 oz. one glass of water throughout
the day
*I also recommend that you take a multi-vitamin every day
to make sure you are getting all the vitamins and minerals your body needs.
I guess that's all I can think of right now. I must thank
a doctor friend of mine. Without her, I wouldn't be able to write this article,
or keep my sanity.
Enjoy life, we all deserve it.
